Fire Department Style Carbide Tipped Chain
The Safest Chain Made Today…Virtually Eliminates Kickback.
Chain & Circular Saws — 223
The first and only chain designed from the ground up for fire
department ventilation, forcible entry, and rescue operations.
The BULLET
®
Chain’s patented cutter is a solid piece of
metal without bends or ground out areas that cause weak
points. The carbide insert is formulated specifically for fire
department use and uses a unique patented “locking key” to
mount it to the cutter body.
The raker gauge is shaped like the nose of a bullet to protect
the carbide insert from impact and the gullet is very narrow
to stop any “hooking”, while also reducing impact.
Rathan “cutting”, the BULLET
®
Chain actually “files”.
Because the cutting edge is exposed around the entire
circumference of the cutter, material is removed remarkably
fast.
The BULLET
®
cutter is .068” thick (sixty eight thousands)…
that’s up to .18” (eighteen thousands) thicker than other
chains! For even more strength, the drive links are also .068”
thick (sixty eight thousands) at the rivet holes, then “coined”
down to .063” to fit into the groove of our guide bar and many
standard guide bars. Extremely tough tempered rivets with
.068” hubs are used to hold it all together and reduce
stretching.
The sesult is a fast cutting, extremely durable fire service
carbide chain. Extensive in service use shows tghe BULLET
®
Chain outlasting standard carbide chain up to 20 times!
And of course, when the BULLET
®
Chain gets dull or cutters
are broken it can be repaired and sharpened quickly and
inexpensively by Edge Industries or your local Cutters Edge
dealer.
